Kick Butts: a book design

I recently had time to take on a fun project–a nearly cover-to-cover book design for a local author’s self-published guide to smoking cessation. After getting a first edition of the book quick-printed with minimal preparation of the text, the author wanted to professionalize the book’s look and feel, and make it a more comfortable read. I set the text in my current favorite Meta Serif; and chapter titles in the nicely contrasting Interstate.
